Listen with Wild Abandon

In 2007, founder Fitz Cahall saw an opportunity that dovetailed perfectly with his passion.

With its singular obsession on high-profile athletes, outdoor media missed a range of incredible stories from different voices that provided powerful on-ramps into the outdoor community. On March 1, 2007, he launched the Dirtbag Diaries podcast. A week later, Twitter debuted at the SXSW interactive conference. That summer, the first iPhone hit the market. Through good timing and dogged work, our digital campfire burned bright.

Today, we create multiple tightly edited, best-in-class shows that have been highlighted by Spotify, Outside Magazine and Good Morning America. In 2021, we teamed up with famed climber Alex Honnold to create Climbing Gold, a deep dive into the past, present and future of climbing.

We consult with leading brands on podcast strategy, best practices and concepting. Through the years, we’ve produced branded podcasts with trusted clients from ideation to the moment a show hits listeners’ ears.

Our advertisers have seen best in class results and we take pride in their continued support (some for a decade-plus!)
